Pooja of Humanity or POH is a group of young enthusiasts with a registered NGO trying to reach out to various underprivileged individuals in Delhi and helping them with their needs. They’ve come a long way from an informal, impromptu birthday celebration to pre-planned events such as New Year Celebrations at Orphanages, Christmas Celebrations at Old age homes, Republic day and Independence day celebrations at slums to instill the idea of oneness in the children. Started from scratch, they stand here with one aim to educate all and a capability to reach out to masses.
In this age, where children know how to swipe through Instagram there are still some who don’t even know how to read! At Pooja of Humanity, we aim at providing education to every child who’s willing to conquer this world! Thus, we started a weekly educational program that aims to provide the basic knowledge to the unprivileged children in and around Shastri Park Slum area under the bridge but due to the current unforeseen circumstances and nationwide lockdown, we had to stop.
It’s out of our physical capabilities to provide education to various underprivileged young children. At POH, we decided to take our offline means online and start our very own virtual classes.
The project is LEVEL UP LITERACY is our new way to reach out to young children through their smartphones.
Currently, there are around __ children who need our support. While we already provided them their basic needs, we need your help to kick start our new project.
